EMPowered Heat:  An Electromagnetic 

Industrial Process Heater.

 EMPowered Heat materially reduces energy consumption joule for joule versus fossil fuel-based heat and other forms of electrified heat. This means economic, low-carbon process heat for industry.

EMPowered Heat

  • delivers electromagnetic (EM) energy directly to molecules that need heating - eliminating most heat transfer energy losses.

  • converts electricity to EM energy with unprecedented 98% efficiency.

  • can heat large volumes of material from 40 – 2000 ºC.

EMPowered Heat is driven by Acceleware’s Clean Tech Inverter (CTI), which pioneers the novel use of silicon carbide transistor technology, enabling extremely energy efficient, economic, and scalable electrified heating. EMPowered Heat is further enhanced, as it couples EM energy delivery directly to material being heated at the molecular level rather than relying on heat transfer from a container or other medium. This results in significant efficiency improvements, since energy is no longer wasted when transferring heat from one place to another, and then further wasted distributing heat throughout the material
