World-Class Energy Technology Showcased at #PROPEL2017

Business Wire - Mar 14, 2017 CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 4th annual PROPEL Energy Tech Forum presented by CapitalRoad took place this month and featured a world-class energy technology showcase as 20 Presenting Companies, including three Alumni, took the stage at #PROPEL2017. The event brought together major energy businesses, key industry leaders, and saw over 40 investor and strategic firms, as well as over 45 entrepreneurial companies in the room.

As Calgary pushes towards technology adoption as a critical element to the long-term viability and stewardship of global energy resources, #PROPEL2017 stood as a key setting for fostering, commercializing, and integrating new energy technologies. The Forum was proud to select these top twenty game-changing ventures from a crop of over 40 applicants. The Presenting Companies are competitively selected each year by the Industry Advisory Board members, which represent the active energy venturing and top O&G firms in North America. The selected companies include: Arundo, Acceleware Ltd., Andora Energy Corporation, CarbonCure Technologies, Cold Bore Technology, Dashboard Canada, FlyScan Systems Inc., Forward Water Technologies, Fractal Systems Inc., GHGSat Inc., Inventys Inc., MaxFleet Solutions, Osprey Informatics, Qi2, Rotating Right, SiftGrid Technologies Inc., SSI Lift, Susteen Technologies Canada Ltd, Terrapin Geothermics, Viper Drill, LLC.

These Presenting entrepreneurs, along with the other 25+ that also attended for the high-quality networking, attended PROPEL with the goal of partnering or funding their energy technology business. The discussion themes at the 2017 event included Innovative Technology for Clean Hydrocarbon Production, Market Access and Expansion, and Early Adoption of Technology.
