When: March 7-10, 2016
The GEO exhibition is the premier showcase of oil & gas exploration technology and services in the Middle East, attracting NOCs, IOCs, and major operating companies. A diverse collection of exploration products, services, technology, and techniques will be on display at GEO 2016 from 129 suppliers and distributors from all across the globe (21 different countries to be exact!). Acceleware will be presenting at the conference sessions, as well as providing information at the booth on seismic exploration and high performance computing. Speak with an expert about Acceleware’s FWI commercially ready modular platform (AxFWI), as well as our Reverse Time Migration (RTM) and 3D finite difference seismic modeling applications.

Tomographic Reflected-Wave Full-Waveform Inversion (FWI) Using Time Lag
Wednesday, March 9th
Room 6 at 8:30am
In this study, we investigate the ability to solve the cycle-skipping issue of FWI and reduce the effect of random noises on FWI, and present Acceleware’s understanding of these challenging issues, the corresponding solutions, and preliminary synthetic examples.
Presented by Dr. Yilong Qin
Geophysical Researcher, Acceleware Ltd.
