Bohdan Romaniuk - Chairman of the Board - President & CEO of Ceres Capital Corp.
Bohdan Romaniuk is a lawyer, economist and business executive, having held a number of senior executive positions in both very large and smaller enterprises over a business career spanning more than 25 years. Mr. Romaniuk is President and CEO of Ceres Capital Corp., a TSXV-listed capital pool corporation, and for the past seven years has served as Chairman of the Board and Audit Committee of Cell-Loc Location Technologies Inc., a TSXV-listed corporation engaged in the development and provision of wireless location services in Canada and South America. From 1996 to 2005, he served on the Board of Directors of the International Telecommunications Society and currently holds the position of Secretariat. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of a national charitable foundation. Mr. Romaniuk has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1988 and the Canadian Economics Association since 1977.
Dennis Nerland - Partner of Shea Nerland Calnan
Mr. Nerland has been a partner with the law firm Shea Nerland Calnan since 1990 practicing primarily in the areas of tax and trust law. Mr. Nerland is a current and past director of a number of private and public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange and is currently a trustee of a number of significant private investment trusts. Mr. Nerland has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary, a Master of Arts degree (Economics) from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science degree (Economics and Mathematics) from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.
Dr. Peter Neweduk - Physician
Dr. Neweduk is a medical doctor and has served in a number of positions in the Calgary Health Region including the executive of the Calgary Regional Medical Staff Association. He has been an executive member of the Calgary Medical Society and is currently an executive member of Medical Mercy Canada, a charity. Dr. Neweduk is also the president of Davanat Holdings Ltd. and Strathridge Apartments Inc. These private companies focus on real estate holdings and redevelopment. Dr. Neweduk is also a founder, director and audit committee member of Ceres Capital Corporation, a TSXV-listed company.
Donald Verdonck - General Manager of Total E&P Canada
Mr. Verdonck is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the Western Canadian petroleum industry. Mr. Verdonck is Vice President, Development and Operations for a private oil sands company that plans to develop its extensive land holdings in the Fort McMurray area using SAGD techniques. Prior thereto, Mr. Verdonck was a General Manager of operations at Total E&P Canada, and was a Manager of several operating divisions with Pengrowth Corporation and Murphy Oil from April 1984 to November 2006. Mr Verdonck is also a founder, director and audit committee member of Ceres Capital Corporation, a TSXV-listed company.
Sean Krakiwsky
Sean brings a lengthy company-building history and a technology vision to Acceleware. He was the co-founder and vice president of business development for IDI Ltd., a GPS-location company that was later acquired by Cell-Loc Inc., where he then held the position of director of U.S. business development. Sean left Cell-Loc to pursue his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Calgary. Several boatloads of coffee later, Sean's research in the acceleration of compute-intensive applications became the foundation for Acceleware's technology and product solutions. Sean has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
